What hooks do you need for Pinch Pleat Curtains? These are the curtains that have the pleats sewn into the top. They come as either double or triple pleated curtains, can be used on either a track system or on a rod/pole with rings both use the same type of hooks.
PINCH PLEATED CURTAINS can hang on either a track or a rod with rings like in this pictures above. The type of hooks you can use either slip in next to the pleats or have a spike that you pierce through the pleat at the back.
The hooks that slide in on either side of the pleats come in 4 different heights to allow you to adjust the height of the curtain up off the floor.
The hooks that spike into the curtain come in one size as you can choose the spot to pierce the curtain.
The ready made sizes for Pinch Pleat Curtains are:
120 cm window: a pack contains two curtains each measures 76cm wide
180 cm window: a pack contains two curtains each measures 106cm wide
240 cm window: a pack contains two curtains each measures 136cm wide
300 cm window: a pack contains two curtains each measures 166cm wide
SHEER PLEATED CURTAINS
Sheer Curtains with hooks use a slightly different hook. The hook for a sheer pleated curtain is called a pin hook. We use pin hooks in sheer curtains so you can get the height correct. This is a pin with a hook. The pin pushes into the seam at the back of the pleat at the desired height.
