Buy Bedroom Blockout Curtains Online
Due to the many benefits they can bring to the room blockout curtains are an excellent window treatment option for the bedroom. Not only are blockout curtains highly practical, but they are also incredibly stylish and here at Quickfit we’re sure to have a style that suits your unique interior design scheme.
How Do Bedroom Blockout Curtains Work?
Quickfit’s range of beautiful blockout curtains is produced in one of two ways. Our Thermal weave option is created using fabrics that are tightly woven, these fabrics are easy to care for and can be washed by hand or machine. Thermal weave blockout curtains do not require a foam backing or lining on the reverse to give them their light-blocking qualities and therefore have a soft drape unlike other types of blockout curtain fabrics.
Quickfit Blinds & Curtains also offer Thermal Layered blockout curtains. Thermal layered curtains provide superior light blocking qualities thanks to the multiple layers of foam coating which is applied to the reverse of the fabric. This foam coating gives the curtain a more structured drape and, unlike our thermal weave options, this coating will be visible on the reverse side of your finished curtain.
Whichever technology has been used to create your bedroom blockout curtain you can be sure that when you buy with Quickfit you’re buying directly from the manufacturer and therefore will never pay more than you have to.
Why choose blockout curtains for the bedroom?
As well as the obvious aesthetic advantages of installing curtains in your bedroom, there are also a long list of additional advantages that come from incorporating blockout curtains in your bedroom design. The main benefit you’ll gain from hanging any of Quickfits blockout curtains is that they’ll allow you to create a private space that’s the perfect sleeping environment at any point during the day or night.
Another benefit to hanging blockout curtains in your bedroom is that they’ll also provide thermal blocking to the room. This means that heat is less likely to transfer through the curtains, which in turn will keep heat in or out of your bedroom. Not only will this make your bedroom a more comfortable and cozy space to relax in but it could also help save you money on your heating or cooling costs.
Correctly Hanging Bedroom Blockout Curtains
To ensure your bedroom blockout curtains perform correctly you’ll need to install them in the correct manner. The curtains should be long and wide enough to cover both the sides as well as the top and bottom of the window, this will reduce the risk of light being able to leak into your room via these outer edges of the window.
